Innocent Bystander - Union Square NYC

This one is all about harmonic dissonance. Not one piece of her outfit quite matches the rest, but something about the whole of it is eyecatching and refreshing. The brightness of the yellow sweater and the red shoes lighten what might otherwise have been a dark, dull dress. I myself have a tendency to be a bit "matchy-matchy". It's a lot safer. (And also fun. I'll have to find a picture to prove it!)Being able to pull off such a variety of colors and textures takes a lot of guts. Let this woman's bravery be an inspiration!
