Nechi - Crown Heights (Again. I Know. She Dresses Awesome.)

This is one of the more interesting outfits I've seen. Interesting in a good way, not that "interesting" kind of way that really means "this is weird'. It's an outfit full of detail, color, and a little DIY aspect that I imitated myself (imitation is the purest form of flattery, after all).
I love the wine purple of her sweater. It's a stunning color on her. The navy blue trim on it is a  great contrast, and something of a nautical flair, if I'm not mistaken. Combining the classy sweater and the intriguingly patterned t-shirt is also a stroke of genius. It's a great balance of dressy and casual.

Adorable green suede boots add a spice to the oufit, especially when worn with this DIY combination of green knit and maroon tights.

Girls wearing belts in the belt loops can be hard to find these days. Such a delicious leather belt worn with such a deliciously cute skirt, peeking out from the most delicious t-shirt I've seen in ages - priceless.

Nechi's watch looks all bling-bling in this picture, but the links of metal fall so softly and are so shimmery, I had to immortalize them for eternity.

P.S. H and M.

DIY?

(see? I can comment intelligently on these types of posts)

:P
DIY - do it yourself.
why didn't you just DIY and google it?

Dang, where'd she get green boots?

le7 said...

(I want green boots, or red boots or blue boots or yellow boots).

Just like a guy said...

So what did she do herself?

LE7: so buy some.

TRS - Please. I pretend to make myself out as this massive shopper, but in reality I'm not. I have self control. My burst of shopping was in relation to a phenomena that Sarah so eloquently wrote of as of late.

Just like a guy said...

What did she write about?

And please, you're a girl, you're supposed to shop.

she wore one pair of tights over another to create a layered, multi-colored look.

TRS - Don't stereotype me! I may be a bad driver but still...

Cheerio - I don't know if you can call that DIY but it is definitely cute.

Cheerio said...

i did say "aspect" - as in, not entirely DIY, but an aspect of DIY. so. yeah. :)

le7 said...

Oh fine. You're the expert anyways.

Woot woot! Is Nechi available?

Sorry anon, but most girls would like to KNOW who's interested in them...
I like the double-layered tights and the purple is a gorgeous color, very suitable for this season.
Btw, until you clarified with TRS, I thought DIY was a brand or something...
I suppose you learn something everyday.

Not that I'm one to speak, but this is my problem with this site. It's great and all, but when you have bochurim ogling girls...it's not a good situation.

le7 said...

You're right Sarah, that is totally this season's color. I even have a winter coat that shade.

TRS - here's my view on this matter: just because there are perverts in the world, does that mean i can't express myself freely?

anon - i couldn't say it better than sarabonne. grow a pair, please.

Just like a guy said...

I'm not even going to get involved in this argument, because neither of us will change our minds.

And I agree, mr. Anon, if you're interested...don't be a creep

le7 said...

Perverts are lame. The point of this blog (I'm assuming) is to inspire fashion conscious girlies to dress tznius.

Cheerio said...

see? LE7 gets it!

Just like a guy said...

Eh, I don't know.

le7 said...

Not saying that the bochurim aren't an issue.

Cheerio said...

i'm just saying - if they're here looking, it's their souls burning in hellfire, not mine. in other words, it's their issue, not mine.

le7 said...

No you're right.

le7 said...

No you're right.

I wonder, if bochurim are ogling girls online...why come here? There are much more graphic pictures out there, easily accessible.
Or maybe, if they're ogling girls, they want Jewish ones...sheesh. Ridiculous.

Just like a guy said...

Why do I always open my big mouth? Why, in fact, am I in this blog in the first place? According to me I shouldn't be. So I don't know.

le7 said...

Shame shame shame.

This aint about the ogling its about hooking up with someone cute and local. Woot!

Cheerio said...

anon, if you think ANY of these girls would hook up with you....

Whoah, this stuff is like Chasidish porn! These girls are hot!

..*ahem*, just trying to be humorous based on the context of the comments! ..not to suggest the girls aren't hot! ..*ugh*, you know what I mean!

..seriously though, if it's to tell other girls you can be hip and modest then that's fine, but to have religious girls obsessed over looks and fashion is a bit...not right..

ash- how would these boys even find out about this blog? *trs ahem ahem*
but trs- how *did* you find out about this blog in the first place?
also, ash, is this in D's apt? haha thats where the parties happen

Just like a guy said...

You're the one who commented on me before I ever discovered this.

Anonymous said...

Chriqui, you're a piece of shit. Enough of you pretentious religio bullshit.

Just like a guy said...

Oh, sorry, I misread who said that. Menuch: Cheerio commented on TRS long before I found out that she was a girl, or that she had a blog. Ever since birthright though...it's been a long decline.

Anonymous: "Chriqui, you're a piece of shit."- I wouldn't protest that..

"Enough of you pretentious religio bullshit."- I'm not sure I understand you. (?) ..I'm just saying they're too into looks. Sometimes these Crown Heights girls really spook me out..
