TRS: It depends on the blue pants and black shoes. Sometimes, it's perfectly acceptable... say corduroy navy blue pants and scuffed black oxfords... But polyester blue with bochur black shoes? Honey, please spare us.
darling, i never wore polyester pants in my life. those were land's end 100% cotton, and the shoes were completely dead land's end black moccasins. so there!
they still didn't look good. you have to be harsh when it comes to these things! i wore a black t-shirt under a blue dress - it worked. but sometimes it doesn't and you just end up looking like a bruise.
Well, at least get your facts straight.
